[comp.sys.mac] question about accelerator board

robin@csun.edu (Robin Goldstone ) (07/20/89)

The July issue of MacUser has an ad for a 16Mhz 68000 accelerator board for
the Mac SE from a company called DPI in Milpitas, CA. The price is $269
which is quite a bit less than other accelerator boards I have seen advertised
(i.e. Radius). Here is what they say about it:
"The 16MHz 68000 based accelerator board that doubles
the speed of your Mac SE. It's fully compatible
with all Mac SE software and can be turned off via the
control panel for speed sensitive applications."
It has a 30 day MBG. Has anyone tried one of these out or heard of this
company? They also make removable cartridge drives.

Thanks for any info.
