How do you download .pit files to a Mac? I tried using binary ftp to my local unix machine and then used MacBinary Xmodem to download it to the Mac, but Packit, (the program that I assumes unpacks .pit files) couldn't recognize it. Can anyone help me? Please e-mail me the answers as I don't often read this newsgroup. Also, our site is temporarily not receiving news. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= + D a v i d C h o w e l l e r + + ARPANET:davec@csufres.CSUFresno.EDU + + or davec@csuf3b.CSUFresno.EDU + + UUCP:davec@csuf3b.UUCP + + or ucbvax!ucdavis!csusac!csufres!davec+ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Sorry about that last post, it helps not to include a blank file. Anyway, I think I found a bug in Word 4.0 and wonder if anyone knows anything about it. If you insert a page break just before a character with a hidden format, then the page break is formatted as hidden (I don't think a page break should have a format). Anyway, a print preview shows all as well, but a table of contents will give page numbers without the hidden page break. When printed the file will print without the page break.
