Does anyone out there in net-land know of a Mac SLIP protocol driver for implementing SLIP over a modem? Thanks, Dave Waller Hewlett-Packard Co. It already exists, in pieces. We have a Shiva NetModem connected to one of our AppleTalk networks. The AppleTalk network is connected to the Ethernet through a Kinetics FastPath. Now, at home, my Mac II has MacTCP and the remote dial-in software that comes with the NetModem. So I dial-in from home, and my Chooser shows all the AppleTalk zones here at UC Berkeley. With MacTCP configured, I can run telnet, ftp, POP e-mail, etc. It's not fast, but it does seem to work.
