I haven't ever seen much traffic here regarding SYSTAT so this query may just be a shot in the dark, but, nothing ventured, etc. I have been trying to use SYSTAT to create a "complex" page of several graphs on a single 8.5 x 11 page. The end result should have 4 iconplots or box plots and a title. First I make a big graph window (full page sized) on my 19" monitor, then I create a .cmd file to draw the plots. I use the origin command to place the sub-graphs on the page. The problem is that the origin command seems to have unreliable, unrepeatable results. It seems sensitive to the size of the plot window, previouly drawn plots and maybe the phase of the moon. The X,Y option in the write command also provides amusing results, such as changing the y value by 0.1 inch causes a title to move half a page. Drawing a full page of plots on the default sized window produces a page with the drawing clipped to the size of the window. These are very annoying behaviours, especially since I have successfully used SYSTAT, SYSGRAPH as bait to lure my collegues away from our Vaxen and BMDP. Are there any gurus out there who have conquered SYSGRAPH? The manual of course is written for the PC world, and doesnt even mention the interactive origin setting by mouse. Tech support at SYSTAT won't talk to me because of the site license agreement, the local vector knew nothing about the problem, and an official channel query will take weeks.
