Greetings, I need to find out how many sheets the lab laserwritters have printed in several Mac labs here at UCD. I know that each time the laser is initialized it prints out that sheet with the information I need at the bottom. However, I want to find out how many sheets it has printed with out restarting the machine. Is there a way to do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Mark- ccmark@pollux.ucdavis.edu

Funny you should ask... just a few days ago, the following was posted to comp.binaries.mac: Jul 22 04:01 <25081@dhw68k.cts.com> 'LW Test Page Control and Page Counter' from PJORGENS@COLGATEU.BITNET (Peter Jorgensen) Posted in the form of Word documents that contain embedded PostScript, one of the documents will cause the current sheet count to be printed. -- Roger L.
