Stuffit is a file archive format that is popular with Macintosh computer users. Lucky us, too, because it is by far the most popular archiving format. IBM PC users, on the other hand, have several file archive formats to contend with: ARC, PKARC, ZIP, PKZIP, etc... The list is virtually endless, with new archiving formats being invented almost daily, it seems. On more than one occasion I have run across a ZIP archive that I want to unpack on my Macintosh, but can't because I don't have any utility that decodes ZIP archives. Thus, this request: I am looking for a ZIP archive utility that runs on Macintosh computers. A utility that runs on VAX/VMS computers is useful, but not as desirable as one that runs on a Macintosh. My only other requirement is that the utility be able to decode a ZIP archive, not that it be able to generate one. If you have or know of such a utility, please let me know. I'll post a summary of the responses I receive. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------- Jeff E.
