Is anybody familiar with any product that will allow a LaserWriter to be hooked up over an EtherTalk network, rather than being LocalTalk'ed to a Mac? ////// Internet: yahnke@macc.wisc.edu \\\\\\ \\\\\\ Phonenet: 608.262.8626 ////// ////// Mailnet: 1210 W. Dayton St., Madison WI, 53706 \\\\\\

Good question, Ross! I know an answer, but it is not the way to go: Kinetics FastPath. Ouch! costs around $1500 for our special University of California discount. I think they are around $2400 otherwise. This is overkill, as a FastPath is designed to handle an entire LocalTalk internet, not just one device. Unfortunately, the electronics involved are pretty much the same. This COULD POSSIBLY be a product begging to be marketed, for all you lurking entrepeneurs. -- Scott Truesdell
