I think this question has been posted before- apologies if it has- but maybe something new has developed since the last postings: I'm looking for a converter that will take a Sun raster file as its input and output a Macintosh readable raster file (pic?). The point is to be able to use the Mac to look at graphics generated on the Sun, on a Sun SPARC based Ethernet network on which the mac is a node. It would be especially nice if the Sun were also able to look at the Mac's graphics. Any leads/ relevant experiences are really appreciated. Thanks, Ben olasov@cs.columbia.edu

Sun raster files and MacPaint are two of the formats. If it didn't come with your X (or you don't have X) contact the author: Jef Poskanzer jef@rtsg.ee.lbl.gov I used the raster to pbm and pbm to macpaint to get a few images off of our suns here.
