HP DeskJet Printer for sale: I am selling my HP DeskJet, which I have been using at home with my Mac, as I now have easy access to a LaserWriter. The printer is about 3 1/2 months old, but has seen light use, about 500 pages total. The original warranty is 1 year, so there is about 8-9 months left. For those who don't know, the deskjet is an inkjet printer with 300dpi resolution (the same resolution as the laserwriter.) It has both parallel and serial ports and can be connected to IBM type machines as well as Mac's. For use with the mac I am including GDT Softworks JetLink Express printer driver. This driver includes outline fonts for Times, Symbol, Helvetica, and Courier. These fonts can be printed in any point size desired from 3-127 (I believe that is the range.) For fonts where no outline is available the driver will look for double or quadruple size bitmaps. I can provide large size bitmaps for the laserwriter+ fonts if desired. Outline fonts for the remainder of the LaserWriter+ fonts are also available for a fee from GDT. I am asking $600 o.b.o. for the Printer, Driver, Mac Cable, and all manuals and boxes.
