Has anyone had any experience with the MacinStore 90 meg internal hard disk? Or any other disks made by the same company? (I think the company's name is MaxStore or Storage Dimensions....) My SE HD20's internal hard disk just went belly up, and I am very tempted to get a Mac'n'Store, even though they're a newcomer.... They have a 1yr warranty, and it costs $869 for 90 meg., with 27msec seek time. The store I browsed at said that they aren't selling Jasmines anymore, 'cause it talks too long (> 2 months) for Jasmine to ship them replacement parts. Any replies/e-mail would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!! -Ted P.S. When a SE HD20's hard disk blinks S.O.S. at you (dit dit dit, dash dash dash, dit dit dit), is it usually totally hosed? Or might it be fixable? The guys at ComputerWare seemed to think it was unfixable, but then again, I'm sure they'd love to sell me a new disk. :-}
