I have an application that I am trying to teach to print. It seems that I can use pretty much the same routines that I use for drawing on the screen. The only snag I forsee is that the screen drawing routines use a call to SetOrigin to deal with scrolling. It would be very convenient to use that same mechanism to handle paging. Unfortunately the documentation is a bit unclear on whether or not that is kosher. It seems that at one time it didn't work (pre 5.0 LW). What I'd like to know is what the official party line on this is. Can one expect a random print driver to handle a SetOrigin call (i.e. there was a bug in early LW drivers) or not (i.e. post 5.0 LW drivers are being abnormally friendly). Any thoughts?
