[comp.sys.mac] Recommendation on Partitioning Software n

re: true hard disk partitioning

If you're looking for a drive, much as I hate to do this, I must suggest a
Jasmine for the ease with which their DriveWare deals with partitions.
The only drawback is, there's no juggling around of partition sizes on the
fly, without destroying the partitions in question (although no
reformatting is required unless you want to increase the _number_ of
partitions allowed). I've been using three partitions now, and they're
working flawlessly. Jasmine makes good drives (now, finally, again, take
your pick) and their DriveWare is absolutely _excellent_ from my point of
view, particularly on the issue of true SCSI partitions.

ps I say "I hate" to recommend Jasmine because their service department
in recent months has proven to be seriously lacking. When/if they fix
their service problems, they'll be a helluva company. I think now that
the Rodime problems are for the most part behind them (in the immediate
sense), they've got a chance.
