[comp.sys.mac] More monitor noises - whining

Here's another question about noises coming out of Apple 13 inch color
monitors.  Mine doesn't "pop", but it sometimes makes a high pitched
whining sound.  A gentle (I DO mean GENTLE) tap on the side generally 
makes it go away.  Sometimes it comes right back, but a few taps later 
it usually stays quiet.  Is this a known symptom (of what?)?
