[comp.sys.mac] Looking for accounting software for small consulting firm.

kovar@popvax.harvard.edu (R15800@David C. Kovar) (08/14/89)

I am looking for an accounting package that will run on the Mac to
support a small (less than 6 people) consulting firm. It should be
relatively easy to use without an MBA, flexible, robust, well documented,
and all those other things. Given the nature of the firm, inventory journals
aren't very important at all but something to handle billing based on
variable hourly rates is. All of the packages I saw at MacWorld were
either a) overkill or b) too inflexible. Any suggestions would be more
welcome. (Save for suggesting that I go write my own. I once did a legal
time and billing package for a Wang system. Getting everything right is
*very* tricky.)

Thanks, in advance.
