After pressing the ON/OFF & SELECT switches simultaneously my ImageWriter II spits out the following message: ############################################################################ LOOP TEST ROMREV(05) DIPSW1(00000100) DIPSW2(1100),'1=ON,0=OFF' RAM= 0 KB AT=OFF LOOP BACK TEST FAILS ############################################################################ Is the 'LOOP BACK TEST FAILS' normal? I believe that a special cable is required to run the Loop Back Test. The test is most likely to test the serial port and requires a cable that Loops back the output to the input. Sean Parent
