Can one use the ColorBoard 64 with the RasterOps 19" Trinitron monitor? I want the 24 bit video capability but the NTSC output is also interesting. Robert Cole Indiana University Academic Computing cole@iubacs.bitnet

Robert, The RasterOps ColorBoard 64 has a resolution of 640 x 480. Thus it is specifically for the Apple 13" RGB monitor. Fabian Ramirez SuperMac Technology, Inc. fabian@cup.portal.com sun!cup.portal.com!fabian

Scott, About the only other information that I would have to offer is that their claim of power consumption <1 Amp is probably not accurate. Looking up the specs for the components as presented by the component manufacturers, it's probably more accurate to assume a bit less than 2 Amps. Most likely this isn't a concern to you. But, it's a piece of info, nonetheless. As Fabian said befoer me, it's for the Apple 13" (69dpi) and any compat- ibles. I've not heard of any other display being compatible, but maybe there are some out there somewhere. In any case, its vertical refresh rate is set for 60 Hz (read: it flickers). That's about all there is to it. *** John Lee *** Radius Inc *** Engineering QA Mgr. *** "I work for Radius, but the opinions are mine."
