Where can one purchase a 40 or 80 meg Jasmine drive other than from Jasmine itself? Do any mail-order places carry it for less? List price of 40 meg Jasmine is $699, 80 meg is $999 (I believe) Thanks- Jonathan Dubman

However, I've heard that some places do carry them, but don't expect to save much. More importantly, Jasmine had an ad in MacWEEK last week where they announced a special sale on their most popular drives - the 20 and 80 MB versions. I don't remember the 20MB price, but the 80's were offered $799 internal, $849 external. GREAT price. Especially if they are still the 3.5 inch Quantums. I sure love mine, the fast little bugger! Four months of SPEED! Free backup software, SUM and REAL partitions are nice too!
