[comp.sys.mac] transfer directories

I would like to transfer a complete directory
structure, with files, from a UNIX machine
to a MacIntosh. 

Anyone knows of a tool that is equivalent to 
cpio that runs on the Mac ?

I have ethernet hookup and file transfer between 
UNIX and the Mac is not a problem.
