OK, I've been scrounging around on the .net for the past few days and have been unable to come up with any specs on the file formats of TIFF and/or PICT. All I want to know is how data is stored in the format! I found a reference to a book by Apple on PICT, but *surely* (sic) there must be *something* out there for free that will tell me what I need to know! I will be eternally grateful if someone can help me out. Thanks! Blake -- ******************************************************** * Blake "Hey, where's *MY* fancy .signature?" Call either Microsoft or Adobe and ask for the TIFF file format. I know Microsoft Tech Support used to have an App note explaining it. It is also included in the Windows SDK documentation. Chris uw-beaver!microsoft!t-chrisk

Blake, For specifications about the TIFF 5.0 file format, contact Aldus. I believe that it's posted in their support forum on CompuServe. As for PICT, refer to Inside Macintosh. Fabian Ramirez SuperMac Technology fabian@cup.portal.com
