I seem to be having some problems with Word 4.0 (1) In color, the selection cursor is often *way off*. I select between two characters, and the blinking cursor ends up almost an inch to the right. I start typing, and the characters insert where I selected, not where the cursor is blinking. This happens all the time. At one time, the last half of a line was shifted 1 inch right, past the margin. Luckily, things still kept working, so I assume word was just having trouble keeping the screen accurate. (2) A scarier problem just happened a moment ago. I pasted something into my document, and noticed I had two copies of the same paragraph. Naturally, I deleted the extra copy, but this destroyed *both* copies (perhaps the second copy was a phantom image on the screen). Now *THIS* caused me to loose two minutes' work, which is worrisome. I have been working on the same file in both Word 3.01 AND Word 4.0. I recently learned to use styles extensively (My 10 previous papers in Word 3.01 didn't use styles). Is there a bug-fixed version of Word 4.0 yet? Don Gillies, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Illinois 1304 W.
