[comp.sys.mac] Re^2: So what happened at MacWorld?

Personally, I was most impressed by the $595 software (+hardware?) package
(can't remember the company name offhand) that allows you to get *color*
scanned images from your black-and-white scanner. How, you say? Pretty
simply: they provide, along with the software package, 3 transparent primary
color filters (like colored cellophane) that you put on top of your color
image, one at a time. After 3 scans, PRESTO: a color image on your MAC! I
saw a live demo with an HP scanjet, and it looked good.

Observation: the MacConnection booth was a zoo - it looked like the trading
floor of the NYSE on a busy day!

The company's name is Discovery, they're located in Maryland
somewhere; the product is called Chroma-32.
