it just took me 3 hours to catch up with less than a week's worth of postings here!! that's what i get for working instead of reading the net. let's try to use e-mail a bit more. anyway i wanted to know you can mix SIMM sizes in a plus (or others) and especially if you can mix SIMM speeds. by the way, what's the stock speed of the SIMMs in pluses, etc. anybody heard of any voice-mail or answering machine baords (pretty much the same thing) for the mac. there are several on the pc already. some allow you to control all kinds of stuff remotely. wouldn't that be nice to hook up with the BSR-X10 controller. hell i would buy that thing if i had that kind of control. think i'll buy the cxi with a realtime video board (for making wild video art and input realtime video) when it comes out. i think i'll use my 256k SIMMs from my plus since the cxi can run virtual. any ideas on this stuff or answers to my questions? stel -- Bitnet: uclstel@uchimvs1.bitnet | remember, you can't know something Internet: stel@tank.uchicago.edu | you know, but you can be uucp: ...!uunet!mimsy!oddjob!tank!stel | aware of it
