I just got a copy each of SuperSpool and SuperLaserSpool that a friend found at a garage sale (sometimes it helps to be known as one of those wierdos who likes the Mac :-) ). The SuperSpool still has the registration card (though it has been opened) and the SuperLaserSpool is still shrinkwrapped. What's the difference between the two? I know SuperLaserSpool works with LaserWriters and SuperSpool doesn't. Is there any other difference? I have an SE with 1 Mbyte RAM (hoping to upgrade in time for System 7.0). I use an ImageWriter II and System 6.0.2. Geoff, Essentially, SuperSpool is a subset of SLS. Their functionality is basically the same. SuperSpool is specifically for direct connect ImageWriter printers; whereas, SLS is for all Apple printers (LaserWriters, AppleTalk ImageWriters, or direct connect ImageWriters) and this should be indicated on the packaging.
