This information has been posted previously by someone else, but I'm getting Email requests so I'll post it again. If you are a student or faculty at an educational institution with nonprofit status (should be most), write to Chet Freda Manager, Headquarters Sales and Administration Semiconductor Products Sector, Austin 3501 Ed Bluestein Boulevard P. O. Box 6000 Austin, TX 78762 (512) 440-4510 Explain that you are a student or faculty, that you would like to obtain free chips, and how you plan to use them. I suggest you be as specific as you can be: which chip (68851, 68882), clock speed, for which machine you want it. In about two weeks, you will receive the chips in the mail along with a form to fill out and return with a copy of your university's letter from the IRS granting nonprofit status. Ask the university's development (fundraising) office for a copy. It's probably possible to obtain other free chips from Motorola and not only those useful for the Macintosh. Try the phone number on that. I know that some of these chips are used in Suns. Steve Goldfield
