Recently I was approached by a person attempting to get an Imagewriter LQ operating with a Plus (System 6.0.2, 1 Meg, Dataframe XP20) using Word and Works. Both programs exhibit a "loss" or "compaction" of some of the spaces between words (but not all spaces). It seems to occur most frequently with spaces before words which are capitalized. The same environment has problems controlling top-of-page margins. Regardless of margin settings, the LQ always seems to put .5" at the top of page. LQ ROM Rev. is V(00). Dipswitch 1 is set to 00000110 Dipswitch 2 is set to 00000000 Dipswitch 3 is set to 00000001 LQ driver software is V 1.0 Anyone have any clues or experiences? Is dipswitch 3 (undocumented) used for hammer timing (as on the IW II)? Is there a tech manual for the LQ yet? Thanks for any help. -- Marvin Jones {pyramid, pixar, tekbspa}!optilink!jones Optilink Corp. ATT-net: 707-795-9444 X 206 1310 C Redwood Way CI$: 71320,3637 Petaluma, CA 94952
