I know this doesn't address your problem, but as a person who USED to program
in Turbo Pascal on a Mac II, may I suggest that you do as I did and switch to
THINK Pascal (formerly known as LightSpeed Pascal) v2.01. I ran into some
wierd problems with Turbo that I was unable to track down, and when I switched
over to THINK, the debugger instantly helped me solve the problems. The whole
programming environment (with projects and all) is much more powerful and
easier to use than Turbo. Also, Borland doesn't seem to be too interested in
Turbo Pascal Mac, since they only came out with 1.0, and then incrementally
upgraded it for the SE and II (they did as little as they had to just to make
it work). Unless they come out with a much more improved version, I just
don't think it's worth dealing with.

I BOUGHT Turbo Pascal, and I BOUGHT the upgrade that should've been free, and
I even BOUGHT a book called "Programming with Macintosh Turbo Pascal". But,
I recently bought THINK Pascal, and I'm much more pleased with this as a
programming environment.

Incidentally, if anyone out there (even after reading this) is interested in
buying the LATEST version of Turbo Pascal Mac, along with the aforementioned
book, I'll entertain offers starting at $25.00. Send email to below address:
