I've recently run into a problem printing a WriteNow 2.0 document using background printing. I'm running System Software version 6.0.3 and WriteNow 2.0 on a 2.5Mb SE with Radius 25 Accelerator. The problem is that a document containing a half-page bitmap prints just fine from WriteNow in Finder without background printing, but will not print in MultiFinder using background printing. I've tried it with both a LaserWriter I and a LaserWriter II NT with the same result - the document prints up to the point where the bitmap appears, then silently quits without any error messages or anything. Is this a known problem? How do I get around it? Switching to using Finder just to print this document seems awful silly to me. Thanks Jim -- Prof. Dr. James R. My problem seems to be entirely in the Backgrounder, and has nothing to do with WriteNow. WriteNow can print the document fine, Multifinder or not, as long as the Backgrounder is turned off, and cannot print it properly if the Backgrounder is on. I presume this is some kind of memory limitation in the Backgrounder. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Can some memory size be tweaked in the Backgrounder or something? It seems to have no SIZE resource. Thanks Jim -- Prof. Dr. James R.
