Having recently downloaded Zterm version 0.8, I thought I'd take it out for a spin, so I logged onto my local UNIX(TM) machine, and tried to do some of the standard things. Started out smooth, but as soon as I tried to edit a file, I ran into trouble... I use emacs, which we all know uses lots of control characters to do interesting things. I seem unable to cause Zterm to pass the control characters through. Where have I gone wrong? (Even if you claim it's in using Emacs, I'd like to be able to send control characters!) I assume there's some option hidden away somewhere. I selected the VT100 terminal and standard macintosh & Dec keyboard option. Was that a mistake? I tried using both Option and Command as the control key. I thought the docs said the author used the option key as a cntl key. I also tried both with and without the keymapping on (or at least changed the option while running). I have a MacPlus with the standard keyboard, and a Radius Accelerator board (which I suspect has nothing to do with it). I'm running under multifinder using system 6.0.2. Thanks for any suggestions.
