I did solve the problem with MSWord Print Merge and Xref 1.2: 1. I modified Xref 1.2 so that it writes BibHeader to file "my thesis.merge" at first. The BibHeader is in the Xref stack as field "BibHeader" with ;-characters between fields 2. Modified Xref 1.2 to write to file "my thesis.merge" ;-characters between fields 3. Modified BibSection so, that there is only line <<DATA my thesis.merge>><<include ...>> So, MS Word does not bomb in DATA statement (if I use ";" it bombs, if I use "," between parameters for DATA, it does not work) This problem has something to do with Mac System national special character replacement (or how should I call it?). Here we must use ";" and not "," in formulas and many other places in MS Word (!). Maybe I did not say this clear enough: Thsi Xref 1.2 problem does not excisist in USA, only in countries where Macintosh has these strange national special character modifications! Does someone know how to disable this thing: I do not want to write ";" when MS Word manual says write "," !
