Has anyone had any difficulties with terminal emulations using ZTerm 0.8? Specifically, when using 'vi' on a UNIX host, the last character gets erased from the screen when I press 'ESC' after entering text. It's not actually gone, however, if you do a screen redraw (CTRL-L), the last character reappears. Also, when I move around the screen a la (h,j,k,l), 'h' seems to erase the characters from the screen where 'l' would rewrite them. Any help would be appreciated. -- jnoh@jolnet.ORPK.IL.US UUCP : ...!ames!{killer, attctc}!jolnet!jnoh Compuserve : 72437,1040

I don't experience the same problem, but nevertheless, here's what David Alverson has to say about it: "There is a problem in v0.8, especially if you connect to Unix or VAX machines. I made a received backspace destructive, but on a vt100 it shouldn't be. You can remove this "feature" with a disk editor like FEdit. Go to offset 10BEE and change 4EBA 0004 to 4E71 4E71."
