I have a Mac Plus w/ 2.5 Mb, a LaCie 110 Mb hard disk, and no nonstandard INITs, CDEVs, etc., in my system folder except for TMON. Since my hard disk has no visible read/write indicator (it's closed up inside the case), the LaCie driver blinks a 3-pixel blob just outside the upper-left-hand corner of the display to indicate disk access. However, when the computer is just "sitting around," no disk access, no mouse movement, etc., a single pixel will flicker (blink) quickly every few seconds, at irregular intervals. Most of the time I've spent on the machine lately has been while running THINK C 4.0, and I'm not sure offhand whether I've observed this running another application. So, umm ... what is it? v v sssss|| joseph hall || 4116 Brewster Drive v v s s || jnh@ecemwl.ncsu.edu (Internet) || Raleigh, NC 27606 v sss || SP Software/CAD Tool Developer, Mac Hacker and Keyboardist -----------|| Disclaimer: NCSU may not share my views, but is welcome to.
