NCSA Telnet tries to determine the difference between mono-spaced and proportional spaced fonts. If it finds a mono-spaced font, then it will use DrawText for faster output. If it cannot determine the font to be mono-spaced, it will take the widest character and space based on that width. MasterJuggler must be playing with the font character widths. Tim Krauskopf NCSA
