I've been using Flashwrite v1.00 on my SE/30 for about a month now, and I'm just curious as to whether other people have been having the same problems I've been having. Some of these problems wouldn't have been discovered if it weren't for the fact my Mac started to die... but nonetheless, they are valid. (1) Flashwrite, when I have the HotKey defined as "Ctrl-Del" (that is, the del key on the expanded keyboards) I keep getting the del character inserted into my page of notes. Since most fonts don't have a bitmap for this key, I get a square. (2) I took ResEdit and went into it and looked at a few resources in hopes of finding something that would clue me in. One of the resources (I believe it was FWRT) is where all the "pages" are kept for later use (ID#1 to #10). I found *6* resources in there with ID#3 (page 3). Clearing them out did no apparent damage, so maybe that was some of the reason for why the Mac was dying lately. I hope that there's a newer release because this is an EXCELLENT alternative to alot of the note-pad programs available. ------- Dan Berry -- U.of Alberta.
