I have decided to do my Disertation on a Mac. After look at the writting programs it looks like Full Write is the only true WYSIWYG editor with enough text formating to get the copy past the thesis formate checkers. It checked out a demo copy and it looked a lot like interleaf, which I have a fair amount respect for. I have heard the full Write is slow. Anyone have any experiences(good or bad)? Slow I can live with, eating my disertation is another question. My basic motivation is that I have formatted huge documents in scribe, itroff, latex, and various IBM products to horrible to mention, the mere sight of a text formating instruction makes me ill. Sean O'Malley sean@arizona.edu please email replies: if I actually read comp.sys.mac I would have no time to actually write my disertation.
