I'm trying to send a file from a Mac to a Sun and am not having any luck. The Mac is running MacTerminal 1.1 with the file transfer mode set to MacBinary, and I'm using mbget on the Sun end to receive the file. The normal file transfer dialog comes up, but the little diamond indicator never leaves 0% and the transfer eventually times out. Does anyone know what's going on here? Should this combination work? Or is there some other recommended combination? We used to use macget on the Unix end (this was on a Vax), and everything worked fine (using MacTerminal file transfer mode in MacTerminal). Unfortunately, we don't have the source to macget (and it doesn't appear to be in the Sumex archives). Can anyone tell me where I can get the source to macget and macput?
