We have several people here who are interested in connecting Macs to HP LaserJetII printers. Can anyone make any comments on this from their experiences? Where do you get the printer drivers? MacPrint from Insight Development and Jetlink Express from GDT Softworks
both should work well with a LaserJet II - I've only tried them with a
DeskJet. Jetlink Express comes with scalable outline fonts, but
MacPrint does a better job of dealing with fonts defined in the DeskJet
or LaserJet. You can get MacPrint for $79 from MacWherehouse, but
Jetlink Express currently is available only direct from GDT for $149.
Both packages come with a cable. Both companies have advertised in
MacWeek, MacUser, MacWorld, etc.
