Is there an easy way to print postscript files on the Apple Laserwriters?

Yeah, real easy.  You either download SendPS from some archive or
bulletin board OR you call up MacConnection and order yourself a copy
of Disktop for $32.  Disktop is a really great thing anyway.

Really worth it.
