[comp.sys.mac] Looking for Keyboard Mapping Software

tres@toadwar.ucar.edu (Tres Hofmeister) (09/12/89)

I'm looking for an application (or DA, CDEV, whatever)
that will allow me to map the function of one key to another
	and vice-versa... I recently purchased a DataDesk Mac-101 key-
board, and the 'control' key is in the lower right corner,
with the option key in the lower left - somewhat difficult when
using emacs on a unix host, for example.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much
appreciated, an email response would be fine.

Buy ResEdit from APDA. You'll get a manual with it that devotes numerous
pages to the editing of keyboard resources. Or you can find a copy of
ResEdit for free on various bboards and try to figure out how to edit
the maps yourself. Membership is $20 and ResEdit is $30.
