We have an extra 20M (ex-ibm-pc) MiniScribe 3.5" hard disk at work. The interface is the PC standard ST-506 (you know, wide cable and narrow cable and power, just like an ESDI drive). I'm interested in knowing, does anyone know of a do-it-yourself kit OR a ready-made interface to get this to work with an ancient MacPlus (actually upgraded Mac512, thus no SCSI port) ? Alternatively, can anyone point me to articles etc. discussing such things ? I'm not afraid of gutting the machine or the CPU board, since I've done that already a couple of times... -- * * * Otto J.
