I am looking for software that will do the following (may be separate pieces): 1) shrink a window into an icon and allow the icon to be clicked on to zoom it back to normal size. 2) a panning control to allow the window to be scrolled in multiple directions at the sametime. Maybe a circle with cross hairs and clicking in a quadrant will scroll the window in that direction. Possible with the scrolling speed relative to the distance from the center of the circle. The latest version of WindChooser, a shareware cdev, has an option that will do just that. Sorry, I don't have any ideas about your second question, though.
