Does anyone know how I could print a document from within microsoft word running on a mac on an epson dox matrix printer. I assume all I would need is some type of device driver in my system folder so that Epson would appear in the chooser. Has anyone written such a beast? Either commercial or public domain? I used a driver from SoftStyle called EpStart which I used successfully with an Epson FX-80. As I recall, it could be configured for a number of different Epson printers. I now have an HP DeskWriter, so the Epson is history. I purchased EpStart from Mac Connection I think. It only costs $28 - $30 or so. There is also a version with a spooler in it called Printworks for the Mac. Haven't tried that one and it runs about $65, I think.
