[comp.sys.mac] Info wanted on programs for exploring patterns in data

We are looking for information on programs which allow the user to
visually explore large amounts of data (e.g. key strokes).  I remember
someone describing MacSpin as a possible solution.

Any info. on such programs (Mac or IBM) would be appreciated.  I will
summarize to the net if there is enough interest.
