We are looking for printer drivers for some non-standard Apple printers,
namely the EPSON EX-1000, the HP-Laserjet Plus, and the Qume Letterpro (which
is Appledaisy compatible). Are there any drivers available that would
give us even limited output from all programs, or at lease some programs?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

A friend would like info on hooking up a non-Apple printer to his Mac. I'm clueless in this area -- heck, I've never read this group before. Doubtless this area has been beaten to death by most of the people in this group. Still, if someone would just name a few names, and so on. So he needs a printer driver -- what's it gonna run him, (his big incentive here I think is economy, so he'll end up with some bottom of the line Epson dot matrix -- all he's doing is WP) what are some of the big names. I'd really appreciate any email responses I could get. FLG

I've had good experiences with a company called GDT Softworks. I beleive they are in Burnaby B.C Canada. I have a TEC F10-40 serial (Diable Emulation) printer and the drivers I got from GDT 2 years ago are still working fine. <<BB>> Bernard Becker the elm street computer terminal 49 Elm St. Toronto, Ontario M5G 1H1 --- * Via ProDoor 3.1aR
