I have three RS-232 ports configured on the UNIX-PC and have the modem port (or printer port) available on my Mac. I heard there is a product by Cayman which will allow you to bridge the Mac to a Unix machine (supporting ethernet). I think it is called GatorBox or something like that. Supposedly you can see the Unix filesystem on the desktop as files and folders and can manipulate them as standard Mac files. Also, the package includes file conversion utilities to go from Unix format to Mac format and back-again. Any info on this package would be greatly appreciated. I am open to ANY other methods/packages/application that will allow me to access the files on my UNIX-PC via RS-232 and a Mac software package (name, price, supplier would be great). Again, any info on this stuff at all or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'd even go so far as writing a custom Unix driver if I had to. Ideas on that would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance!!!!! V. Paragano MTS Concurrent Computer Corp
