This has probably been a recurring theme for some time but as a relatively
new MAC+ user I have several questions regarding the addition of
non-APPLE SCSI drives to a MAC+. These are:
- Is there software available (not tied to a drive vendor) for
performing formatting, bad block flagging and drive set-up for
SCSI based drives?
- Are there any particular SCSI interface variations which cause
APPLE hardware heartburn?
There are a sizable number of SCSI based drives available at low cost
and I would like to add one on cheaply. Please E-mail me directly as
this is probably an old topic.
