Like many other people I would like to put extra memory in to my mac. A year ago when I got my mac prices for memory were excessive, so I waited Now I am glad I did because prices have really come down to the sort of price that I can pay. However, not surprisingly, if the price keeps falling I don't want to buy now. My questions are, will the price go down much further (and over what period) and what factors limit the lowest price that a 1Mb chip and be made and sold for? I know these questions may not have an easy answer, but if anyone, especially those familiar with the memory chip industry, have any comments on future prices I am sure many people would be interested .
