I need some help in a big way !! Here's the scenario : My Mac SE system keeps crashing, and I'm not really sure why. I've tried removing various inits, isolating various components, etc. and I'm turning towards your wise minds to help me figure out any incompatabilities that I'm missing ... The system : Mac SE with 4 Mb RAM, 40Mb internal HD System 6.0.2 running multifinder Trying to run HyperCard 1.2.2, Word Perfect 1.0.2., Excel 2.2 at the same time Also have a Daynafile 5.25" drive attached LocalTalked to a LaserWriter IINT (using LaserWriter/Prep 5.x) The problem : I keep crashing out of Word Perfect - the machine will freeze up when I try to switch applications. This crash is sporadic, though. My machine freezes when I try to print in HyperCard. I've check the "About The Finder ..." after all applications are loaded (from Set Startup) and it shows adequate free memory (approx 1.3 Mb). I'm at a loss for what to do next. If you can help me, please e-mail me at scb1@tank.uchicago.edu. I'd really appreciate it !! Thanks in advance. Sam -- Samuel C. Blackman !
