[comp.sys.mac] Bravo, LaCie!

There have been a number of postings about non-existant support from
some Mac hardware suppliers, e.g.  J*sm*n*.  There are some companies
that run quality tech support organizations - LaCie is one of them.  I
called them last week to ask a few questions about Silverlining and
their mounting case for SCSI disks.  All support lines were busy, so
they took my number and said they'd call me back.  They did! Repeatedly!
They called at least once a day.  Unfortunately, I was in and out of my
office a lot so they left messages on my voice mail.  It took a number
of days of telephone tag before I got my answers, but not for want of
trying on their part.  I'm not, yet, a customer of LaCie, but an
attitude like that certainly helps to make me one.
