Could anyone let me know about experiences with Cutting Edge drives? A novice Mac user friend of mine is thinking about buying one, and I'd hate to see her get burned early on in her MacCareer. Thanks. Joe Hellerstein

My external 800k floppy drive has been trouble free through 6 months of light-to-moderate use (I don't have a hard disk). An Ehman telephone rep said that Ehman makes some of Cutting Edge's hard drives; Ehman sells its name brand direct for cheaper and with better warrantee than Cutting Edge, which appears to be available only through the mail-order houses. Ehman products have been discussed on the net often--browse back a few weeks and you'll no doubt find some postings. Jim Whitehead "Who cares"
