I have a MacSE that has me stumped. It is one of the new ones. It was a 1meg machine, I bought Ram to upgrade it to 2.5 megs. When I opened it I found only 2 SIMM's installed in slots 3 & 4 rather than 1 & 2, the memory jumper was in the 2/4meg position.... I added 2megs in slots 1 & 2, put the original in 3 & 4, left the jumper where it was, and when I fired it up it came up as a 2Meg machine rather than a 2.5 meg... what am I doing wrong? If some kind sole could give me the tips here for these new SE's I'd be in there debt. Bob Murrow laserman@cup.portal.com
